A short call. You describe the problem, not the solution. We ask about the people who will use it.

A working demo on made-up data, clearly marked as a demo. Nothing is sent anywhere. You click through it and tell us what is wrong.

Only then the real build. It starts from a short list of questions: data, access, who approves what.
